Joining the growing ranks of the inaugural merchandising trend is the commemorative ‘My President is Black’ tee shirt by Clot Inc., which has a picture of Barack Obama on a $5,000 bill; they will be available on January 20, 2009. 

Personally, the main reason that I would not wear the ‘My President is Black’ shirt, even though I’m a white woman who voted for Barack Obama as President of the United States, is due to the fact that I live in an area of the Southern US in which many still cherish the Confederate Flag.
