Willfully Brooding Fashion Editorials

The Love No. 12 Moping About Photoshoot is Pining and Posh

The Love No. 12 Fall/Winter 2014/2015 Moping About editorial displays depressive versions of models Saskia De Brauw and Edie Campbell. The two beauties appeared solemn and brooding as they peered at the lens of photographer Drew Jarrett, bringing about an unusual scene for followers of the magazine.

Stylist Phoebe Arnold kept up with the moody motif of Moping About with muted colors and faded pastel tones. Both De Brauw and Campbell sported basic blue button up tops, sheer black gloves, drooping grey dresses and barely there beige bras, pieces that one might wear on a gloomy day.

Elements of grunge also came of these images. Chunky thigh-high leather boots and crop black tops are reminiscent of the 1990s era, bringing a bit of the past into the current style fold.
