The Missoni for Target Collection Brings High Fashion to the Masses

Fashionistas rejoice, the Missoni for Target collection is almost here. Until the 400-plus piece collection hits stores on September 13th, you can satisfy your craving for some chic printed pieces with the first images of the ad campaign.

The Missoni for Target collection runs until October 13th and includes everything from clothing to bedding to dinnerware to bicycles—that’s right, Missoni bicycles.

The campaign features Margherita Maccapani Missoni and was shot and directed by American filmmaker and photographer Alex Prager.

Both the campaign and commercial are heavily influenced by mod 60s fashion, which has always been a Missoni favorite. Margherita Maccapani Missoni is seen wearing a printed shift dress and matching head scarf, complete with opaque black tights and large hoop earrings: accessories that define the 60s perfectly.
