Misfits Gaming Group will be hosting a new invitational tourney titled the ‘Misfits Gaming VALORANT Invitational’ which aims to showcase female and non-binary talent in esports at a competitive level. The VALORANT Invitational will feature a wide array of female and non-binary players alongside male players. The prize pool is set at $20,000 USD and the tournament will be broadcast live from the Misfits Gaming Group Twitch channel.
The VALORANT Invitational will take place from August 22-23 and will feature a series of captains from the VCT Game Changers event. With the introduction of the Invitational, Misfits Gaming is prioritizing gender diversity in esports and continuing to acknowledge that VALORANT is a growing title among female/non-binary competitors.
