Keeseh Studio is holding an international competition to promote upcycling through utilizing waste material. The Make Some Green Design Competition 2008 is open to all students and design enthusiasts.
According to the competition's page the goal is to, "Generate innovative designs and redefine the standards of environmental sustainability by fostering balance between conservation and development."
"This competition will provide a stepping stone to help educate viewers of the vast opportunities and future development of environmentally friendly processes, materials, and products."
There are three categories; manufacturing processes, products, and packaging. Submissions must be received by October 1st.
As for the reward, three entries will win media coverage of their product/ process while one will win a cash prize of $1000.
