The ‘Cinematography’ collection by Japanese designer Maiko Takeda is simple and beautiful. The photographs really breathe life and make it seem as if shadows have tactile qualities all on their own.
The collection was completed as a project at Central St. Martin’s school and detailed to the highest degree. Each metal accessory is covered in holes drilled by hand and shades the model, completely changing the picture.
Maiko Takeda sheds some serious light on shadows with this collection.
