Taylor is expanding its 'Legacy Collection' with two Hawaiian koa models that put the wood's look and tone at the center. The 'Legacy K65e LTD' and 'Custom Legacy K10 LTD' both reinterpret earlier Taylor shapes, offering players a koa-focused option within a line built around the brand's classic builds.
The K65e LTD is a 12-string Jumbo with an all-koa build and Baggs Element VTC electronics. The K10 LTD pairs Hawaiian koa with an Engelmann spruce top, a deeper, tapered body, and a shorter scale length for a different response. Each guitar is limited to 52 pieces and costs $5,999 through authorized Taylor dealers.
That 52-piece cap and dealer-only rollout make the pair a collectible tier within Taylor's acoustic range. It also makes the Legacy Collection a clearer home for wood-led variations, where small changes in body shape and top material matter as much as the model name.
