Latvia’s primary school sports hall is bigger and nicer than many pro athletic complexes I’ve seen. The swank facilities were designed by Substance, who according to Dezeen drew their inspiration from the chunks of amber that wash up on the Baltic coast.

Latvia’s primary school sports hall is used year-round for court sports like basketball and volleyball, but it can also convert into an ice rink for skating and hockey.
