Though this cross shaped raio may seem a bit simple with its traditional craftsmanship and use of local wood, it actually has quite an intelligent meaning.

The designers explain their cross-shaped radio by saying it is a commentary on the product as an “object of everyday use that becomes cult-like, showing great power of media, loneliness in the contemporary society and the need of belonging to a community.”
