King of California - Do You Want Fries With That? (VIDEO)

This new comedy release directed my Michael Cahill is the story of a young girl (Evan Rachel Wood) who has dropped out of school to raise her mentally-ill father (Michael Douglas). She works at McDonalds and attempts to support her father’s plan to dig for 18th-century Spanish gold that he believes is buried beneath a local Cosco store in Southern California. The film was released September 14, 2007.

According to Dave White at movies.com “Douglas is an actor who seems to really dig the moments when he can become disheveled onscreen (see Wonder Boys), the actor equivalent of loosening your belt and unbuttoning your pants at the dinner table.”
