Hotels are offering gas rebates to travelers like Disney’s Swan and Dolphin who enters guests in a lottery to win a buck for every round-trip mile they are from home.

Gas retailers are giving cash rebates because the percent they pay to credit card companies is killing their profit margin. Car makers are locking in gas prices at a relatively low price for a long period. State run lotteries are incorporating free gas giveaways.
