Interactive Pet Marketing Campaigns

Embark Invites Owners to Share Dogs' Quirks in Contest

Embark Veterinary has introduced interactive pet marketing campaigns through its World's Weirdest Dog contest, inviting owners to showcase their pets' unusual habits. Rather than focusing on appearance, the competition highlights distinctive behaviors while connecting them to the company's recently launched Behavior Insights & Training feature, which explores how genetics can influence canine mannerisms.

Running from October 15 through November 15, 2026, the contest accepts photos and videos of unusual dog behaviors. Participants can encourage others to vote for their entries, with the winning dog receiving a Times Square billboard appearance, a $200 gift card, and an Embark DNA test featuring behavioral insights.

For Embark, the competition creates opportunities to introduce its genetic testing capabilities to a wider audience. Public voting and shared submissions could increase brand visibility while encouraging pet owners to explore the relationship between DNA and behavior.
