Dead Shoulder Pets

'Idiots' Create Morbid Animal Jewelery and Other Odd Objects

Art duo Idiots, comprised of Afke Golsteijn and Floris Bakker, have created a new line of jewelery and objects featuring stuffed animals.

Each of the pieces by Idiots is a bit of an odd, awkward surprise. All feature faux dead animals adorned in beads, found objects or stuffed into blown glass.

While interesting to look at, I'm not sure PETA would be too happy to see this collection, even if it is 'art/design.'

Implications - Not every consumer shares the same preferences or interests as their neighbor or peer. While certain tastes may bear negative reputations, it is important that clients have access to them. It is imperative that businesses remain open-minded and willing to adapt to new ideas if they are going to remain at the forefront of the cutting edge.
