The hilarious holiday greetings from Flanagan’s Pub in New Orleans are back for 2009, and now they come with more beards! (You know, ‘cause beards are in this season.) Leave it to a bunch of drunken roustabouts to come up with something this insanely funny—a strangely wonderful reinterpretation of the classic Christmas song "Three Ships."
In order to outdo the 2007 video of "Little Drummer Boy" and the 2008 version of "Good King Wenceslas," the team from this French Quarter local’s hangout have created two different versions of the 2009 edition of their annual Christmas greetings.
There is a 10 minute short film featuring the bartenders and cooks from the establishment as well as a shorter music video for those with a minimal attention span. Both versions are hilarious and feature the kind of strange and quirky humor that you might only see in New Orleans. It’s a must see this holiday season.
