Well, finally, a kitchen gadget that claims to make healthy food that actually tastes good! The T-Fal Actifry fryer needs only one spoonful of oil to cook a load of fries, or “chips” as they are known in some parts of the world. According to the Electricshopping website, “simply load up to 1kg of freshly cut chips into the Actifry, drop in a measure of your preferred oil using the spoon provided and set the timer, the Actifry does the rest”. They also claim that this method of “frying” is actually safer than traditional methods since it is fully automated and uses a fraction of the oil. This gadget might be worth a try if it can truly make good tasting food. Sure beats carrot juice!
