There is no better time than summer to showcase re-designed Havaianas by Federica Sanavio, a Scuola Italiana Design student based in Padua, Italy. Inspired by music, this concept focuses on sweeping and simple lines. The result is a minimally sculptural flip flop that graces the foot in a functional and fashionable way.
Advised by her tutor Giulio Simeone, Havaianas by Federica Sanavio was created through 3D modelling in Rhinoceros and rendering in V-Ray. This particular design was influenced by contemporary music. With a white sole and aqua strap, the design has an overall feminine appeal. What makes it stand out in particular is the single strap that curves around the outer foot and secures around the heel. This detail makes it very minimalist.
