Book Spoiler Auctions - Harry Potter Prequil for Charity

Harry Potter fans are desperate to find out more about the prequel, the latest piece by J.K. Rowling which reveals the life of Harry and his troup in their pre-Hogwarts days, and the events that led up to the happenings in the first seven books.

In an interesting business twist, the first look at the literary gem will be offered to the winner at the What’s Your Story?, a program that auctions of prequels by numerous top authors. The 800-word outline of Harry’s life before the world fell in love with him will land in the hands of one lucky bidder at Waterstones on June 10, the funds of which will go to English PEN and Dyslexia Action.

“What’s Your Story? just gets more and more exciting—all these brilliant works by amazing writers and illustrators, every one a small masterpiece,” said Waterstone’s chief Gerry Johnson.

“We never dreamed that JK Rowling would donate something so precious, and we’re incredibly grateful.”
