For the first flagship store opening in Shanghai, this European brand launched the Media Markt guerilla event. The city of billboards, LEDs and flashing lights was colored red for the Media Markt guerilla stunt, with more then 1000 movers, 40 trucks and 20 trycicles through the streets.
This new, foreign brand has a great challenge to be in focus of all Chinese potential customers; however, chances of infiltrating the market are looking up with this loud, bold approach. A brand promotion stunt like the Media Markt guerilla event has never been held before in China.
