To cater to the growing number of consumers going gluten-free or simply looking to reduce their gluten intake, Wow Bao has announced the debut of a gluten-free bao, alongside other better-for-you options such as lettuce cups and zoodles.
Bao is a type of filled bun or bread-like dumpling that is common in various Chinese cuisines. Now customers can enjoy a gluten-free version of Wow Boa's famous bun in the chain's Teriyaki Chicken variety. Alongside the new gluten-free bao, the chain is also rolling out zoodles and lettuce cups. These low-carb offerings can be paired with the customer's choice of toppings, including the Spicy Kung Pao Chicago, Orange Chicken, Hunan Spicy Steak, Thai Curry Chicken, All Vegetable, or the gluten-free Teriyaki Chicken.
