Giving away gas cards with purchases of goods was explored in an earlier Trend Hunter post, as seen below, but now people are going to real extremes to help fund the fueling of their vehicles.

David Partin said he would name his kid after two radio station hosts, calling him Dixon Willoughby Partin, in exchange for a $100 gas card. The hookers at the Shady Lady Brothel are giving away gas cards, and a priest is having a drawing for those who attend mass, comparing giving out gas to Jesus creating wine.
