Remote Cabin Hotels

The Furillen Black Lodge Resort is a Modern Take on Seaside Dwellings

The Furillen Black Lodge Resort is a fresh take on the traditional luxury hotel concept. Designed by Swedish architectural firm Jägnefält Milton, this simple and sophisticated seaside dwelling is a modern take on a classic cabin concept.

Located on Gotland Island, this stunning resort will feature a series of individually built cabins, constructed from local pine tree materials. These simplistic structures are meant to give its users freedom, allowing them to manipulate exterior panels to either shut out outdoor views or to allow natural light in.

While the Furillen Black Lodge Resort features countless luxe amenities, these minimalist dwellings are meant to provide an escape from excess, featuring only a stove, a stool and a multifunctional wooden board made to act as a table, bench and bed.
