Fundraisers – Charity Calendar Flops in Madrid
Several well-meaning middle-aged mothers from Spain created a calendar to raise money for their children’s rural school. What they got was a $16,000 debt and 5,000 unwanted copies of the finished product.
Dubbed “discreet,” this naked-wonder Borat-type calendar is not one that they could hang on the wall at Disney World. However, it would be appropriate at an over-the-hill gun club somewhere in the Catskills.
The older I get, I am so thankful that I saved my grandmother’s chocolate fudge brownie and bake sale recipes.
