The F*ck Me! Shoe Collection

These shoes are part of a collection of artist-decorated Terry de Havilland wedges.  The shoes are collectively called F*ck Me! Shoes

The collection was auctioned off 2 years ago to benefit the Chelsea Arts Club Trust, Trinity Hospice and Artists General Benevolent Institution in England. The shoes were all hand painted and beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail and the themes ranged from The Beatles, skulls, sex postures, insects, faces and cigarettes.

I really enjoy this colorful collection of footwear but…why the F*ck Me! Shoes title?

The contributing artists were: Allen Jones, Sir Peter Blake, Sandra Blow, Gus Cummins, Frank Phelan, Bruce Maclean, Peter Edwards, Christian Furr, Stella Vine, Sarah Lucas, Patrick Hughes, Ralph Steadman,David Shrigley, Olly & Suzi, Rupert Gatfield, Brendaon Neiland, Richard Evans, Don Smith, Stuart Luke Gatherer, Bill Jacklin, and Gray Jolliffe.
