Food Themed Games - Cooking, Food Fights, Puking (VIDEO)

Food Games are heating up in the gaming industry. Wii has many awesome games coming up that revolve around the theme of making food, fighting with food, or even farting and puking because of virtual foods.

New food games currently in production include a Hell’s Kitchen Web game which is totally cool because getting yelled at by Gordon Ramsay is pretty awesome.

Major League Eating, is a new WiiWare game that features characters from the International Federation of Championship Eating. You will puke, fart, and gag all you want. 

According to the Star, the kernel from which this has all sprung is Nintendo’s Cooking Mama series. Created in Japan, the games were licensed for the North American market by Majesco, and feature a wide-eyed character named Mama who talks you through various recipes. Cooking Mama was originally created for the DS, and has spawned a sequel and Wii version. It also spurred the company to bring over Cake Mania, a similar virtual baking game.
