Stripe-Saturated Shoots

Marlon Teixeira Plays the Field for Homerun Stripe in Fiasco July 2011

Homerun Stripe in Fiasco July 2011 is a baseball-themed photo shoot starring Mark Westinghouse and Marlon Teixeira in a motley array of stripes. Lorenzo Marcucci photographed the duo in striped separates from Diesel Black Gold and Prada.

Stylist Ivan Bontchev kept things lighthearted and upbeat, giving the models a baseball glove, bat, a catcher's mask and a few baseball caps to wear. Interestingly, the striped New York Yankees hat worn in several of the images belongs to the stylist -- a rare appearance for the polarizing NY logo in a fashion magazine.

Homerun Stripe in Fiasco July 2011 is a fun, uplifting editorial filled with frenzied fashion and plenty of spring staples. The photo shoot's baseball theme only adds to its allure.
