If you’re not convinced that animals can express their feelings, then check out these photos from Dailygreen.com’s collection and from the email box of decidedly sad-looking animals.

Who can resist that puffball kitten or that puppy with the saddest eyes?  The shower cat, though, is one wet and unhappy pet.  Some photographs are downright funny with clever captions, but the most poignant of all is the zoo polar bear nose-dived onto his little patch of ice. Surely this is a kindred feeling for his relatives in the wild with the ever shrinking polar ice?
