ARKA Acorn Urns are eco-friendly funerary urns for cremated remains. The pulped paper urns are handmade and finished with moss green or deep red recycled silk and mulberry leaf paper overlay.
A gold Acorn Urn is also available. The gold urn is finished with a dark red base paper before gold leaf is applied. When small cracks in the gold leaf occur, the underlying red surface shows through, adding texture and interest to the piece.
The biodegradable urn will hold cremains and decompose over several months if buried in the ground. It will last indefinitely above ground if kept dry.
