Flexible Ergonomic Mouse

The DUO Flexible Mouse Switches Between Standard and Vertical Modes

The DUO flexible mouse is a concept by designer Taehyeong Kim that combines a traditional mouse and a vertical ergonomic mouse in a single foldable design. Its rear section folds to transform between a low-profile layout for precision tasks and a vertical configuration that promotes a more natural handshake grip. Additional side-mounted sensors support operation in the upright position, while the adjustable folding angle allows users to choose a wrist position that suits extended computer use.

The concept also incorporates a rechargeable battery to reduce weight and eliminate disposable batteries. A magnetic, replaceable folding leg is designed for easier maintenance, allowing worn components to be swapped out instead of replacing the entire device. In standard mode, the mouse folds flat for smooth movement across a desk surface, while the vertical configuration prioritizes ergonomic comfort.
