Italian artist Marco Perego caused some uproar with his installation called, The Only Good Rock Star Is a Dead Rock Star which showcased a fake cadaver of Amy Winehouse sprawled out on the floor.

Shown at the Lower East Side’s Half Gallery located in NYC, the provocative and subversive show also included an of installation of the famous but tragic 1950’s writer, William Burroughs.

 Asked what Winehouse herself might think of the tribute, the artist explained, “Who wouldn’t want to be included with Burroughs folklore?” Others were less concerned with Winehouse’s feelings at being faux dead. (style)
