As working parents know, work schedules and travel can steal away from family time. IRobot has come up with, what I can honestly say is, a rather brilliant solution: the Connectr! This gadget is a great way of connecting with your family when you are on the road.

If you have to work late, it will act as a virtual babysitter. “We would call it a spy bot, but it’s neither small nor subtle, which is the point: you don’t want to be invisible to your children while you’re away on business, just to look like a round red vacuum cleaner,” the site said.

It could also play a huge role in professions as well, such as for doctors, therapists and even designers. The uses are endless for this little gadget!
