California-born artist Nienke Klunder makes these amazing photographic series reflecting contemporary culture. This series above is from the ongoing art series “The Community,” which explores the female identity. They hair and makeup is done incredibly well—if you saw any of these characters in the street, you probably wouldn’t recognize them.
