PLAYA DIA is bringing a vacation feel to premium tequila with PLAYA DIA Tequila Blanco, a sipping bottle meant to be as giftable as it is pourable. Founded by Rachel Forbes and Dennis Cisterna, the brand uses a sculptural seashell-shaped glass bottle to make the bar cart part of the experience.
It uses 100% blue weber agave from Jalisco, Mexico and is bottled at 40% ABV, or alcohol by volume. A turquoise rope detail and keepsake box push it beyond a standard pour and into gifting or display.
For shoppers, this means picking a tequila for the atmosphere it creates as much as the taste in the glass. The convergence of smoother-drinking positioning and sculptural packaging gives PLAYA DIA room to compete as a host gift or bar-cart bottle, not only as another blanco.
