Cheesy Ramen Crossovers

Kraft Mac & Cheese Brings Its Signature Cheesiness to Ramen

Kraft Mac & Cheese is expanding cheesy ramen crossovers with a new range that applies its recognizable cheese flavor to instant ramen. Arriving nationwide in early 2027, the lineup includes Spicy, Chicken, and Pork varieties made without artificial flavors, preservatives, or dyes. The concept builds on an existing consumer habit of adding cheese to ramen for a creamier texture, stronger flavor, and balance against heat. It also represents Kraft Mac & Cheese’s first move into a new category in nearly 20 years.

Entering ramen gives Kraft Heinz access to a $2.7 billion category growing nine percent year over year. Cheesy ramen itself has doubled over the past three years, creating an adjacent opportunity for the established brand. The launch can also help Kraft Mac & Cheese reach Gen Z consumers while extending its familiar cheese identity into additional eating occasions.
