This is one of the geekiest collections of accessories that I have seen. Multi-colored Superman logos? A cassette? Anyway, this very kitschy line of bead necklaces and earrings was developed by Swedish designer Cajsa Westerman.

“Jewelry design turned out to fit my impatient nature very well,” said Westerman, “as I can see the results fast and working with the tiny details is kind of soothing.”

Implications - The rise of geek culture has pervaded into nearly every industry and niche. Fashion in particular has embraced nerd culture, and designers are creating accessories filled with retro video games, outdated technology and other graphic icons of the technology world to appeal to fashionistas who want to flaunt their geek pride.
