Brandsupply Focuses Solely on Local Design Talent

There have been crowdsourcing initiatives that have spanned internationally to procure talent from across the globe, but not many that have kept the effort local. Brandsupply, however, is a Netherlands-based company that offers graphic design contests that focus only on local dutch clients and designers.

The contests run from a week to two weeks in which clients outline a project, set a price they’re willing to pay, and then local designers submit their ideas. While keeping crowdsourcing local means less talent to draw on, that seems like a small price to pay for the understanding of local customs and culture that can make design ideas more relevant and suitable for the clients.
