Botanical Shoes - Shoe Fleur, A Footwear Fantasy (GALLERY)

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing when I saw Michel Tcherevkoff’s photographs of shoes and purses fashioned from plants and flowers.

“It all started with the underside of a banana leaf,” Luxury Culture notes, “While working on a campaign for Estée Lauder.”

Touted as one of the most innovative photographers in New York City, Tcherevkoff’s solo collection “Shoe Fleur, A Footwear Fantasy” will be on display in Paris’ Le Bon Marché from June to August 2008. “Shoe Fleur” the book, debuts the artist’s work and is a ‘must have’ for all fashionistas and photography lovers.
