Augmented Interface Turns Any Surface Into a Touchable Display

I would bet dollars to doughnuts that at least one future computer will be modeled after the Augmented Interface. The Augmented Interface is a conceptual computer designed by Gustavo Fricke that uses a built-in projector to create a touchable display.

The Augmented Interface comes in two pieces: a dock that also acts as the projector and keyboard, and a wireless component that could possibly be used as a mouse. The displayed image is fully touchable, letting users decide how to interact with their content. The Augmented Interface would greatly reduce the size of the modern computer. Today's laptops and desktops may not seem bulky to our eyes, but can they use a wall as a touchable monitor? I didn't think so. Stats for Projected Touch-Screen Computers Trending: Older & Buzzing
