Amuleto Hotel - Laid-Back Luxury in Zihuatanejo Mexico (GALLERY)

This is a superb boutique hotel, organically integrated with Zihuatanejo’s natural beauty. The hotel’s thatched roofs, clean lines and simple luxury appointments help increase the feeling that you are worlds away from home. The hotel is located on a hillside so the beach is a 20-minute steep walk away but they do have their own restaurant so you won’t go hungry if you don’t feel like venturing off the hilltop. There are only six suites in the hotel.  Some of them include plunge pools, shower gardens and private terraces. There are no televisions or alarm clocks but there is internet access and a stocked minibar. This boutique hotel is a sample of the small boutique hotels trend with a touch of luxury in a simple and natural environment.  It is so far from the modern world but so close to the indulgence and comfort.
