Recently we saw a woman auctioning off her virginity online, and now a man is taking his turn to climb on board the ‘cashing in’ bandwagon. A guy from Massachusetts is currently auctioning his Facebook profile on eBay with a starting bid of $73,000. In order to pay off his college debts, the man is offering someone the opportunity to purchase his online social identity, giving them full access to his photos and huge network of friends, which he says he invested quite a bit of time into building up. Probably a tempting offer if you are fed up with your current group of friends, but would anyone be willing to pay for it?  Want to screw with people and have me take the blame for you? Want access to some of my most intimate relationships and personal identity information? Want a huge network of friends who will immediately know and love you? Want to become instantly popular using my name? Longing to feel accepted by a group of attractive, accomplished peers?
