People with highly refined palates might be able to discern the difference between high end spirits, but for the rest of us, The Essential 1800 Artists Series is an easy way to recognize quality. The project places renowned contemporary artists' works on the classic 1800 Tequila bottle, adding even more high brow creativity to the top shelf tequila.

The latest artist to be included in The Essential 1800 Artists Series is Shantell Martin. Martin is best known for her black and white line doodles. They're at times reminiscent of artists like Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, which makes them a powerful image to include on the stately shape of the 1800 bottle.

Several of Martin's pieces will be printed on the tequila bottles, including rough outlines of faces and images with text as well.
