We’ve featured the Alchemist’s gold-leaf luxury car roofs before on Trend Hunter, but the UK-based real-life King Midas has outdone himself with this Aston Martin DB7. This bad boy received a full-body bath in 24-carat gold and platinum leaf and got seven sparkling diamond studs.

The Aston Martin DB7’s gold treatment was done in honor of the new 007 movie ‘Quantum of Solace,’ and will be shown at London’s MPH Show the day after the movie’s UK premiere.
