Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition Mixes Old & New At British Musuem
Statuephilia is a collection of contemporary statue pieces on show at the British Museum featuring artists such as Antony Gormley, Damien Hirst, Ron Mueck, Noble & Webster and Marc Quinn.
The British Museum, which was founded in 1753, is hardly associated with the art world’s cutting edge until now which mixes new pieces with those from the museums existing collections.
