Hedi Slimane’s ‘First Time’ Shows Flavors of Edible Emotion

Hedi Slimane shows that photography with food doesn’t always have to be sultry and scandalous in his new set,, ‘First Time.’

The set features young male model Alex sensually eating a slice of watermelon. The title of the set probably refers to this being Alex’s first time with Hedi, or first time in a professional photo shoot.

The shoot took place in London in June 2009.
