Nina Garcia Hates Sarah Palin Glasses

While Sarah Palin’s Kawasaki 704 glasses got Trend Hunter a high-profile mention on CNN, fashion guru Nina Garcia from the popular TV show Project Runway is not a fan.

“She has promise,” Garcia said of Sarah Palin’s fashion sensibility. “She just needs to lose those glasses. Get them lasered or something.”

Unlike Project Runway’s Tim Gunn, who chose Michelle Obama as having better style, Nina Garcia likes the style of both possible first ladies.

“Cindy is Oscar de la Renta — she is bright and bold,” explained Garcia. “Michelle is an elegant, Jackie O-type. She channels the 50s and 60s.”
