Rebound Reality Stars

Melissa Rycroft Parlays "Bachelor" Snub Into "Dancing With the Stars" Slot

Melissa Rycroft may have been snubbed on "The Bachelor," but the spurned reality star has a new gig--replacing injured Nancy O'Dell on "Dancing with the Stars." The injury-plagued reality show has already lost two of its scheduled competitors before its first airing, as O'Dell and singer Jewel both had to bow out.

This will be Melissa Rycroft's first appearance on "Dancing with the Stars." The 25-year-old is no stranger to dance, as she is a former cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys.
