‘Prosthetic Moustachios’ and ‘Wool Dreads’ by San Francisco’s NifNaks are hand-made accessories for frivolous fun. If you can’t grow your own facial hair to this extent or your locks lack the texture necessary for dreads, artist Nifer Fahrion’s creations are just the remedy.

The fun accessories are made from 100% merino wool and available on the NifNaks website. Moustachios start at $25 for the dainty ‘Chaplin’ and go up to $47 for the more elaborate ‘Edwardian’ or ‘Zeppelin’ models. Fahrion’s dreadlocks are crafted in a rainbow of colours and can be bought individually for $2.50 each or, for $150, you’ll get a 60-strand full-on hippie do.
