3-Wheel Eco Cars

T3 Motion Unveils CT3 Personal Commuter EV X-Prize Entry

Renderings of the CT3 electric vehicle illustrate a gorgeous design concept that promises 100 mpg efficiency and speeds of up to 45 mph. Although the EV is in the concept stage, T3 Motion also plans to enter a special CT-S version capable of 80 mph and 100 mpg in the Auto X Prize competition.

Because of the 3-wheel design, the T3 Motion CT3 can be classified as a motorcycle in several states. This means that unlike several other 3-wheel vehicles, the CT3 may avoid being restricted to low-speed use. The CT3 personal commuter will use electric motors powered by lithium polymer batteries to run each of its 3 wheels.
