This custom-made wooden greeting card was made by a Siberian design firm Contek for their 40th birthday anniversary.
Made out of a 40-year old tree with rings clearly visible to represent graceful aging, this wooden greeting card is unlike anything you've ever seen. The pages themselves are made of separate wooden pieces coming together into a rectangle creating a unique and beautiful pattern out of the partial rings. The greeting is carved into the wooden page using an age-old carpenter's technique that employs fire to impress the lettering into the wood.
The card itself comes in a cardboard box with a celebratory sticker over it. Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like a custom-made wooden greeting card with a fire-burned celebratory message.
