Button-Defending Microsites

Sony PlayStation YayButtons Site Launches to Counter the Microsoft Kin

To counter the buzz surrounding the Microsoft Kinect, the Sony PlayStation YayButtons site launched to prove just how important buttons are. The site forces you to click buttons on a remote to access site content, and witty Kevin Butler quips assail users with missives meant to emphasize the utility of the very buttons Microsoft wants gamers to ditch.

Implications - The featured images show you what the new Sony controller for the PlayStation Move will look like. It has a bright ball on the top that glows in colors such as pink, green, yellow and blue. The controller also has a wrist strap, similar to that of a Wii controller. When you visit the YayButtons site, little bulbs pop up when you click a button and say things such as "more like 'not play games that suck' important."
