Saraiva Bookstore Offers a Vibrant Shopping Experience

FAL Design Estratégico has created a fun and fresh interior design for Saraiva Bookstore in São Paulo. Because Saraiva Bookstore is the largest bookstore chain in Brazil, this store required a design that would resonate with the chain's success and fresh aesthetic.

The Saraiva Bookstore features a kids area and other areas and departments related to fun, culture and education (including a theater), says The Retail Design Blog, and the designers have incorporated a bold yellow palette that reflects this fun and excitement. In this one-and-a-half story space, accents include floor-to-ceiling shelves and mobile display tables for displaying books and other merchandise, large circular booths with central coffee tables for kicking back and reading and multimedia areas. Lights were placed atop the shelves for controlled illumination, and a bright yellow ribbon of light that winds around the store.
